We really look forward to welcoming you to Iscoyd Park and hope you have a lovely stay with us. If there is anything you need when you are here please don’t hesitate to ask. Here is some information about arriving, check in times, check out times and breakfast.
Staying in the House
On arrival park in front of the house and ring the doorbell and we will help you unload your cars and show you to your room. Once unloaded we would be grateful if you could park your car in the car park.
All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and the rooms are let on a B&B basis.
Staying in the Stable Rooms or the Laundry Cottage
On arrival drive past the front of the house and follow signs to the car park. Once parked you will walk into the stable yard (which has an open-sided barn in the middle!). You will see the Stable Rooms directly in front of you and the door to Laundry Cottage to the right of these buildings. We will be expecting you and the room keys will be in the door. If you have slipped past our radar and for some reason there is no one to meet you please feel free to go into your room.
The Stable Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and are let on a B&B basis. The Laundry cottage will have tea, coffee and fresh milk, bread and butter in the kitchen and is let on a self catering basis.

(on some sat navs you need to enter the country as Wales) Contact numbers: 01948 780229 or 07958947041 /07850 688372
Directions from Whitchurch: From the Whitchurch bypass, take A41 towards Chester into Grindley Brook. Take left turing B5395 signposted Malpas. Take first left by brown bus shelter signposted Higher Wych. Pass large Dairy Farm on right, go round a couple of bends then turn left down steep track (Green Man footpath sign). Go over bridge at bottom of track and immediately turn left. Wolvesacre Mill Cottage is the first dwelling on the left.
Short route passed Iscoyd: After turning at the “Iscoyd Park and Higher Wych’ sign from the A525, pass Iscoyd Park on right hand side, go past Guest Drive, Deliveries Drive and Park School Drive. Road bends to left, take right fork just before triangular patch of grass, continue past Wolvesacre Hall Farm on right hand side and pass cottage on left. Road dips, turn right before small bridge, Wolveacre Mill Cottage on left.
Longer route from Iscoyd (use if road conditions are poor): Turn right follow road round to High Wych, cross over bridge and take turning to the right (about ¾ mile). There is a sharp bend to the right, too sharp to turn into, so use the turning 50 yards further on the left, back down steep track (Green Man footpath sign), over bridge at the bottom, turn immediately left. Wolvesacre Mill cottage is on the left.
Part of the charm of Iscoyd is its beautiful rural location but despite that there are plenty of taxi firms close by. However, it is essential that they are pre booked as it is very hard to get one on the night.
You are welcome to leave your cars overnight but please make sure that your car is removed by 10am the morning following the wedding.
There is WiFi in the main house, Laundry Cottage and the Stable Rooms.
If guests staying in the rooms wish to go for a walk around the estate please let us know and we would be glad to tell you a good route.
Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs or pets to visit Iscoyd because there are usually livestock in the Park – thank you for understanding.
At Iscoyd: On site accommodation is reserved for the Bride and Groom until four months prior to the wedding. At this point any accommodation that has not been allocated by the Bride and Groom can be rented by guests coming to the wedding. It is often worth phoning to check availability here four months before the wedding as there are sometimes rooms available.
There are many hotels, B&Bs and pubs in the surrounding area. We have an accommodation list below which should help you find somewhere suitable.
