Seconds from the main house are the beautifully renovated stable rooms and Laundry Cottage which between them can sleep up to 12 adults (and if required, a few children).
The Stable Rooms
These two 5 star rooms are let on a B&B basis. They won a 2012 Hudson’s Heritage Award for Best UK Wedding Accomodation and a gold award from the Welsh Tourist Board in 2014. Those staying here will either have breakfast with you in the house or a continental style breakfast in their rooms. Each has under-floor heating, en-suite bathrooms, sofas, desks, wifi, TVs, fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities, radios and extremely comfortable beds.
Laundry Cottage is next door to the stable rooms. Full of character, the cottage is let on a self-catering basis, although the occupants have the option of joining you for breakfast (if you wish!). It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is a large sitting room with an enormous fireplace and sofa bed meaning it can accommodate eight adults. The bedrooms are large enough to have put-up beds for children if required. There is a well equipped kitchen and good sized garden with the possibility of a BBQ if wanted.
Wolvesacre Mill Cottage
This charming former miller’s cottage is a five-minute drive from the main house. Let on a self-catering basis it is on the edge of the estate in an idyllic setting, nestled in a beautiful valley and overlooking a brook which is the border between England and Wales. It has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting room, dining room, kitchen and garden.
